CraniumTUTOR
Reading and Math foundation
program – Ages 3– 10
A
Fun-filled reading and math comprehension program.
Kids go beyond memorization of concepts as they enter animated
learning adventures that not only teach them core reading
and math concepts, but help them to develop a true love of
learning!
Each student (ages 5 - 10) is tested and given a unique learning
prescription which is then supplied to our multi-sensory interactive
learning stations. Homework assistance is also given to this
age group as needed (see below for more information).
Each
student (ages 3 - 4) is given core reading and math skills
to accelerate their early development.
Advanced
Program:
For those children who are on or above
their grade level in reading and math, CraniumTUTOR is a perfect
fit! The program allows children to excel independently, and
not be held back by the class or group level, as they master
new reading and math skills. CraniumTUTOR will scientifically
challenge a potential Honors Student to maximize their ability
and allow them to advance at a steady, and achievable, pace.
Foundation
Program:
For those children who are
below their grade level in certain areas of reading and math,
CraniumTUTOR is a great match. The program utilizes an extensive
skills test that is administered at the beginning of the program.
This comprehensive assessment is the basis for determining
precisely what areas the student needs to focus on. In addition,
the technology underlying the CraniumTUTOR Program monitors
a students work and performance in each session, which allows
for ongoing correction and resolve of any specific areas of
concern.
- An
Individual child’s ability will vary significantly
and this is taken into account by the unique way the program
is set up.
- The
program follows Florida “Sunshine State” Standards
and grade level equivalency skills.
- Upon
successful completion of a learning skill-adventure, each
student is rewarded by our Goal Achievers Club which includes
recognition, rewards and the use of the CraniumGYM.
- CraniumTUTOR
is often combined with other programs such as CraniumGYM
(which incorporates an indoor & outdoor state-of-the-art
gym), CraniumART or CraniumEXPLORERS.
- CraniumTUTOR
is a state-of-the-art, fun-filled, multi-sensory program
that utilizes a unique and different approach to achieving
comprehension of reading and math skills (In contrast to
traditional remedial instructor programs).
- HOMEWORK
HELP (Ages 5 - 10): CraniumTUTOR also includes a weekly
homework “jumpstart” component. Each child should
bring one piece of challenging homework. The instructors
will assist in their understanding and partial completion
of the homework.
