Research
Tens
of thousands of children worldwide have gone through the learning
components of our various programs worldwide. The program's
results, taken from various international studies, show that
these components significantly accelerate a child's capabilities
during the first seven years of life, which is the critical
time, or “window of opportunity”, when a child's
neuro-pathways are being developed. According to a recent
Newsweek magazine article, if you miss this window, you miss
this critical opportunity.
SPECIFIC
DEVELOPMENT:
There are 19 critical areas of childhood development related
to our CraniumEXPLORERS and Cranium Academy (School) programs. Highlights of some of the skill areas
in the scientific study are as follows:
Significant
increases in areas such as:
General Knowledge
Critical Thinking
How to apply & transfer knowledge
Concentration
Logical Thinking & Classification
Cognitive skills
Problem Solving
Reasoning
Decision Making
Communication & Public Speaking
Confidence
Passion for Learning

LEARNING
STUDIES:
Below is additional information and results from specific
studies done with the core components that make up our CraniumTUTOR
and Cranium Academy programs.
The
graph above shows scores from the key reading predictor tests
which show that students using our Literacy Center component
outperformed the control group by 37 %. Overall the PreK students
made a 74 % gain in early reading skills, surpassing those
children who received only the standard district literacy
program materials. This study found a significant difference
in performance on key reading skills between the kids using
The Literacy Center versus the kids who used only the standard
state curriculum. This finding, over one full academic year,
shows that the kids using The Literacy Center are particularly
strong in providing key early reading skills.

Sight Word and Phonetic Decoding
Skills Conclusion
The graphs above show the impact that phonological awareness
has on the growth of reading skills. Students who develop
average phonological awareness by first grade typically end
fifth grade two to three grade levels above their peers in
sight word reading ability and phonetic decoding skills. These
results were observed using the core components of our Academic
Excellence Program.
Northern
California - Suburn School Study:
Another test was done with kids in this school district. The
results showed that the children who used the Literacty Center
program for less then one year outperformed the students in
the control group by 123 % on the CORE Reading and Decoding,
by 110 % on the Test of Reading and Decoding and 22 % on Rosner's
Test of Phonemic Awareness.
